Let’s face it when it comes to anything involving house renovations, we are often apprehensive since we think it will cost us a lot. They say women are very fickle when it comes to making decisions. I can admit this to be true because I always have changing decisions even for the simplest things. You will always find my room in a different arrangement depending on the season at that time. If only I could change my wallpaper each time. I could but I just have to settle with other things because it I very expensive.
What I do is that I change the valances that I hang on my window. For those who are like me, you should consider window valance ideas that will give you variety. Even as a young girl, I have always been very particular with how my bathroom looks. I’ve always wanted it to be painted in a color I chose and the designs should fit perfectly in it. Even when it comes to the simplest things such as candles, I make sure that these will look great. Of course, bathrooms are never bare. I have all my perfumes, lotions, hair dryer, shampoo, soap and other toiletries there.
With my excitement to try all brands of these, they have crowded my sink. I cannot wait for the weekend to come because I have been working like a mad woman for the past few weeks because we wanted to impress a client so much that we have worked literally non-stop. Since I know that I have to recharge before beginning another project, I booked my favorite villa for the weekend so that I could spend some time alone for some rest and relaxation. What I love most about that place is their huge old stone outdoor fireplace. I love hanging out there because I am able to enjoy the stars in the sky while drinking hot apple cider and listening to the crackling fire. The couch is not bad also since it is so soft and fluffy. I have frequented the place so much in the past that whenever I come the management already reserves my spot every night without the extra charge. Now, all I need is to get through two more days of intense pressure and lack of sleep. |

I've worked hard on my garden this year - I hunted for gazebos for sale for what seemed like weeks before settling on one. I planted my flowerbeds. I've laid the turf. Now that's all done, I have to work on my house, or at least plan to!
If I had an unlimited budget to renovate my house, there would be tons of projects I would love to do. First and foremost, I would love to completely re-do my kitchen: install new floors, cabinets, and counter tops. Our kitchen right now is a bit outdated, and it feels even smaller than it is thanks to the dark cabinetry. Also, I would love to put some new flooring down in much of the house. The tile floors in the entry way definitely needs to be replaced, and the carpet in the bedrooms is old. Windows are another big concern for me - we have old, drafty windows, and I'm sure we could save some money heating and cooling our house if we could install new windows. Lastly, I would love to install new trim and doors. The wood in our entire house is dark and is in kind of shabby shape, so I would love to make things fresher with new wood for the trim and doors. |

I know of people who are very clean and many times, people confuse them for people who have a serious allergy of dirt or even people who have the obsessive compulsive urge of cleaning all the time and they cannot stand dust. Well this is not entirely true because there are people out there who do not like being in dirty places and if the find themselves in such predicament then they make the place clean themselves. I have a neighbor who is like that and funny enough, he is one of the best carpet cleaners that I have ever come across. He knows how to remove the most stubborn stains in the shortest time possible and he also knows how to clean a carpet in such a way that the bad smell that usually comes with the carpet goes away. He likes what he does and there is no one time that you will hear him complaining about his work. There is a time I threw a party in my parents house without their consent and my friends stained the carpet and he saw me as I tried to get the stains off and he helped me do it and by the time my parents were coming back, the carpet was sparkling clean. |

I cannot say that I hate animals, it is just that I cannot stand them and there are some that I really fear. I am really scared of dogs, all my friends are well aware in that when I go to visit those who have dogs, they keep the dogs or dog in a place where I would not be bale to see t hem because is I do I am going to disappear and not even feel comfortable at all. I am allergic to cats, especially the fur, considering they constantly emit fur balls all the time, and if i was near them for a long time then I would seriously get a nasal infection. Another thing that really annoys me when it comes to animals is how they are really untidy. The only animal that you can train is a dog and that will take a really long time. People who have animals in their homes have the best way on how to get rid of carpet smells. This is because animals can decide to pee on the carpet and that always leaves a stench behind. Such people have to constantly wash their carpets and put a freshener that will musk the bad smell. |

It is a sad reality that despite my parents&rsquo best efforts, having worked so hard all their lives, we never really had a place that we could proudly call our own. We have been renting for as long as I can remember. It&rsquos funny because when my siblings and I were much younger, we thought we were so rich and we had so many houses, because we used to transfer a lot &ndash in search of more affordable house or apartment to rent. Some were beautiful, complete with felt roofing and more, while others were not as beautiful. But it was only when I was in high school that I eventually understood that we didn&rsquot have our own house. But as I grew up, I realized that it wasn&rsquot only me or my family, who didn&rsquot have a house. Many of my classmates were only renting, too. I felt very sad. I wonder how it was possible for a family not to have a house, which I believe is a basic need. Shouldn&rsquot the government provide a decent home to every citizen? I just wonder. |

One day when I decided to pay my mom a visit in the office, I happened to notice that their office was undergoing renovations here and there. People were all rushing to finish it at the earliest time possible. The place was a mess because of all the materials scattered in the area. The in charge has already given word that after slating and tiling, it will take only two weeks more to complete the job. My mom says this is good news, because they can't wait to be completely settled in the building. At present, they share the space with another department, and the space is just too small for them. When the renovation is done, they can now expect a bigger working area and a more efficient staff to do their jobs. This building is no stranger for me. I practically grew up here, given that my mom has been working here for the past thirty-five years. I was a regular visitor especially on Fridays. Perhaps this explains my excitement too, to see the output of the renovation. |

My sisters and I always wanted to go on a trip for at least two weeks. We feel that we need some time to unwind and discover new places that has been left undiscovered by the rest of humanity. One time we decided to have a European trip and we mean a real trip. Of course, we had to visit a couple of the most loved and most famous tourist spots like the Buckingham Palace and even the Oxford University. Since we were in London, we wanted to take the rest of the day by having a road trip. We rented a car and started going about the different towns. While passing by the different shops at the sides of the street, one center really caught my attention. The name of the store was roofing nuneaton Ltd. I asked my sisters if they had any idea what the store was about. It was a weird store, I should say. It the same size as the boutiques that sell dresses. If this store is selling hardware, it should have had a larger space. Well we went inside alright and we found the answer to our question. They were dealing with hardware but it was only their office for transactions. That had to end our road trip for that day. |
