THE living room is the heart of our home, a sanctuary of comfort, leisure and relaxation. A place where we relax after a hard day to enjoy quality family time, watch TV, listen to music, read or just slouch on the couch.
It is also the main room where we receive and entertain visitors, so we want it to be welcoming and presentable.
Centrepiece of any living room are a sofa and comfy chairs. With leather very much back in fashion, an ideal accessory choice is a leather footstool. A sleek black contemporary style footstool would suit a modern house or maybe a brown leather footstool for a more traditional home. The overall look is classy and distinguished, but is also neutral, allowing it to fit with a wide variety of decor styles.
Bookcases and a storage chest will help round the room off. The former, filled with much treasured books, can add much character and distinction to a living room. To complete you ideal living room furniture, other items include bookcases, stools, display units, cabinets and units to house entertainment or multi-media equipment.
The most important factor, of course, is price. We all want value for your money, but what if you canít find a stool to suit you? Why not go for a bespoke or custom made one? You can have it designed exactly to suit your style, taste and comfort zone, and most importantly, budget.
